Terms of Service

SwapFound connects people who want to trade skills, services and items. By using SwapFound you agree to these terms.

Who can use SwapFound

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. One account per person. Keep your login private.

Trades are between members

SwapFound is a platform, not a party to any trade. Members decide what to offer, agree terms and are responsible for the quality, safety, legality and taxes of what they trade. Licensed work (for example electrical or plumbing where a license is required) must only be offered by properly licensed people.

SwapFound Credits

Credits are a community record of help given and received. They have no cash value, can't be bought, sold or withdrawn, and may be adjusted to fix errors or abuse.

Your content

You own what you post. You let SwapFound display it to run the service. Don't post anything illegal, misleading or that you don't have the right to share. See the Community Guidelines.

Memberships

Paid memberships are covered by the Subscription Policy.

Suspension

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Decisions are made by people, not automated systems.

Disclaimers and liability

SwapFound is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, SwapFound isn't liable for losses arising from trades between members or for indirect damages. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Changes

We'll post updates here and tell members about important changes before they take effect.
